The Wright Insurance Agency has been part of the Modesto community since 1985. David and Debra Wright built it from the ground up together — and every agent on the team carries forward the same commitment: find the right plan, explain it clearly, and be there when it matters.

David and Debra built this agency together from the very beginning — and after more than 30 years, they still lead it with the same belief that got them started: do right by the client, every time.
David Wright opened his first insurance office in Modesto in 1985. He and Debra built the agency side by side, growing it from a single office into a health insurance practice serving clients across 18 states. Debra has been the driving force behind the health insurance side, building it from the ground up and shaping the client-first approach the whole team runs on. David's roots in Modesto run deep — his father, Joe Wright, was a beloved local pastor whose legacy of community service continues to shape the way David shows up for this city. Since 2020, David has served on the Modesto City Council, carrying that same commitment forward.

Kristen Corrales
Licensed Insurance Agent
Kristen Corrales is a dedicated Health Insurance Agent with J. David Wright Insurance Agency, where she has been serving clients since 2016. Over the years, she has built a strong and diverse clientele, assisting individuals and families both locally and across state lines. Kristen specializes in Medicare plans, individual and family coverage, and Covered California, guiding clients through complex insurance decisions with clarity and care. With more than 30 years of customer service experience — including time with Disneyland, Starbucks, and Limited Brands — she developed a deep understanding of client needs and a people-first approach that continues to shape her work today. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her son and family, and expressing her creativity through art.

Heather Hartsfield joined the team in 2021, bringing over 25 years of customer care experience and a genuine passion for client advocacy. She specializes in Covered California, Medicare, and individual and family plans, and holds a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Community Health and Arts & Sciences. Her fluency in medical terminology helps her bridge the gap between healthcare providers and policyholders — making sure clients get both the right coverage and a clear understanding of it. Outside of the office, Heather is an active member of her church and enjoys life with her husband, five grown children, and two grandchildren. You'll find her cheering at a baseball game, exploring a new travel destination, or enjoying a quiet afternoon at home — and she brings that same warmth to every client interaction.

Jacob Irwin came to insurance from a background in senior living, which shapes the way he approaches every client conversation. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of what seniors and their families actually need from their healthcare coverage — not just what looks good on paper. He specializes in Medicare and has a particular passion for helping seniors navigate coverage decisions with confidence, while also assisting clients with Covered California, individual and family plans, and dental and vision coverage. Jacob is deeply rooted in his local church and community, and believes that same spirit of service carries directly into his work with clients. Outside of the office, he cherishes quality time with his wife Krystal and their three kids.
